Many parents have a problem with their children playing online games or chatting via social networks instead of studying or playing outside. If you can relate to this, you may also understand how difficult it can be to get kids away from the computer screen.
Kaspersky Lab has a solution for you and your children: with the Parental Control component of Kaspersky Internet Security, you will no longer need to continuously ask your child to take a break from surfing online – instead, the application will block access to the Internet or shut down the computer when you decide it’s necessary.
To start using these features, follow the steps below:
In the main window of Kaspersky Internet Security, select Parental Control. Specify and enter the password.
Click Configure restrictions for your child’s account. On the Internet tab, set the time limit for Internet availability for your child on weekdays and weekends respectively.
Click on the Parental Control switch to enable your settings.
Now your children will not be able to exceed the time limit of Internet usage that you have set. With Parental Control, you can also restrict certain applications and filter web content that your children are viewing. To learn how to do this, see this article on the Kaspersky Lab Knowledge Base.
