Transatlantic Cable podcast, episode 90

Dave and Jeff take a look at the latest in the IC3 report, digital clutter, USB devices gone rogue, and more.

Today marks the 90th episode of the Kaspersky Lab Transatlantic Cable podcast. In this episode we touch on fraud, cybercrime, and a pair of reports mixed with some innuendo, shaken not stirred.

To start things off, we look at the annual IC3 report from the FBI. What stands out is the staggering amount of money stolen in 2018 in the US. From there, we take a look at how USB devices can be weaponized — yes, even keyboards. After that, we look at the impact digital clutter can have on companies’ bottom lines. We then go on to the sad tale of a lass who lost a lot of money thinking she was sending it to a broke Jason Statham.
