Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces that leading Spanish IT magazine PC World has selected Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 for its 5-Star award.
“Apart from detecting and removing malicious programs, Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 prevents attacks, making it safe to use the internet,” was how the editors of PC World described the new Kaspersky Lab product. The magazine also highlighted the solution’s effectiveness and minimal use of resources.
“After undergoing a number of changes, the interface of the new Kaspersky Lab version 2009 product now has a simpler, intuitively understandable structure,” the magazine continues. “The completely innovative parental control system allows the creation of different user profiles (adult, teenager and child) and protects children from dangers present on the internet. The fact that all the parental control profiles can be integrated with the Windows user accounts is also very convenient.”
The new personal products released by Kaspersky Lab in the middle of 2008 are based on a new antivirus engine which dramatically increases system scanning speed. Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 incorporates an innovative application activity filtration module that makes use of HIPS (Host-based Intrusion Prevention System) technology together with an improved firewall, an anti-spam module and a parental control module.
