Kaspersky Lab beats off stiff competition from leading vendors to take SME security crown at the annual awards.
Kaspersky Lab has beaten off competition from some of the biggest technology brands in the world to win ‘Best SME Security Solution’ for its Endpoint Security for Business Solution.
The company was up against the likes of Sophos and Qualys to win the title at the SC Magazine Awards last night. The category was judged on the customer base for the product, the support offered to customers and the future development of the products.
The winning solution, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business, has been designed from the ground up to specifically address the growing needs of small and medium sized businesses, especially with increasing numbers of SMEs owning multiple laptops and smartphones. It delivers a single, integrated platform and management console and requires no specialist IT skills – yet still offers features from ready-to-use templates to granular policy controls, to help administrators customise the solution to their own needs, simplifying the user experience while providing the highest quality of protection.
Kirill Slavin, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab, says of the win: “This is a real achievement for us when up against such tough competition and we’re delighted to have won this prestigious award. With Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business we are dedicated to enabling smaller firms to focus on running and growing their business, secure in the knowledge that their data and systems are fully protected. It is great to see these efforts acknowledged by this award.”
The SC Awards are widely recognised across Europe and honour professionals working to secure enterprises, and the vendor communities that deliver innovative security technologies.
