After reviewing Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 in its August issue, Micro Actuel, one of France’s leading IT magazines, singled out Kaspersky Lab’s new all-in-one security solution for its “Editor’s Choice” award.
The magazine’s review highlights the superior protection from IT threats that the new product provides, as well as the high-speed scanning and minimal use of system resources that are achieved with the new antivirus engine. “The Russian company has managed to create a solution that has such a low impact on system resources that it does not cause system slowdown. The product is not very big – only about 26 MB,” the article states.
Micro Actuel’s review also stresses Kaspersky Internet Security 2009’s easy-to-use interface, which includes two modes: automatic for beginners and interactive for more experienced users. “The product interface has been redesigned and has become more user-friendly. The new product includes an automated mode, while the heuristic analyzer provides protection from unknown threats.
“Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 is a good choice for those who do not want to be bothered with the problems of setting up a separate firewall.
